Kwozzi Golfworks was established in 1990 by Bruce Chambers the only Certified ″Class A″ Clubmaker of the Professional CLUBMAKERS′ SocietyŽ (PCS) working in Vancouver. Bruce′s aim has always been to provide the player, regardless of his or her playing skills, with the best fitting clubs at the best price possible.
Over the years Kwozzi Golfworks′ reputation for quality workmanship, ″state of the art″ products and excellence of fitting has grown. So much so that we have been able to provide thousands of customers with professional quality, highly playable clubs. We have also retrofitted many sets of ″off the rack″ clubs to create a better fit, enhanced playability and hence greater enjoyment of the game by the player.
Our customer profile runs from raw beginners to touring professional. Their demands may be different but they are all given the same attention to detail in fulfilling their needs.
When it comes to the fitting process we prefer to use scientific instruments indoors to assess the needs of the player. Some of the instruments used are the Sportech Swing Analyser to establish the players swing characteristics, The Determinator for swing and shaft load, the Distance Caddy for swing speed, ball speed, efficiency and ″smash factor″ and The Wishon Launch Angle program to determine the best lofting in woods.
Our fitting is ″dynamic″ which means the players swing characteristics are measured while hitting golf shots. The only static measurements are hand size and wrist to floor.
Fittings are done by appointment only. Please phone Bruce at 604.737.3697 to obtain further details.
Sets of 8 Irons are priced from $500.00 and Woods from $120.00 each. Our aim is to produce the best fitted most playable clubs at the best price possible.
